I am an active researcher in the field of twentieth and twenty-first century literature. I completed a PhD in English Literature at the University of Glamorgan in 2009, which was funded by an Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) Doctoral Award. My forthcoming monograph, Dorothy Edwards, will be published by the University of Wales Press in October 2011, and I have recently edited Edwards’ 1928 novel, Winter Sonata, for publication in September 2011 in the Honno Classics series.
I am currently based at the University of Glamorgan, where I co-ordinate the Women in Universities Mentoring Scheme (WUMS), a joint HEFCW and Higher Education Institution funded project that works across Wales. This year, I will be responsible for the delivery of a third-year undergraduate module, Welsh Writing in English 1960 – Present Day, at the University of Glamorgan, where I have previously taught a range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Welsh writing in English and women’s writing. In recent years I have also worked for the Welsh Books Council and the University of Wales, Newport.
